Launch of D&O Liability product

We are pleased to announce the launch of our Directors and Officers (D&O) offering to the Australian insurance market.

We have secured a binder through Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s, enabling us to provide D&O coverage to our mutual clients sustainably and for the long term. This will allow us to expand our capacity to cater for your clients’ needs across both simple and complex financial lines insurances.

Our D&O underwriting will be centred upon broker-focused customer service, quick turnaround times as well flexible and pragmatic underwriting. A cornerstone of our commitment to our partner brokers is to support you irrespective of changing market conditions. We intend to continue this commitment in our D&O underwriting.

We have a broad-based appetite across commercial and financial risks. We are able issue both primary and excess policies with side ABC and AB coverage. Our D&O appetite and offering includes:

  • Standalone D&O cover
  • Writing both primary and excess policies
  • Commercial and financial risks
  • Both side ABC and AB coverages
  • Entity Employment Practice Liability as an optional extension under our primary D&O wording
  • Policy limits up to $10m
  • Our target market segment is for private, public unlisted, and publicly listed ASX201 companies and above
    (We have some limited appetite for risks within the ASX200. Within the ASX100, preference for risks attaching above $50m AB and $100m for ABC and for the ASX101-200 for risks attaching above $10m AB and $50m ABC)
  • Capacity to write Side A DIC policies, along with reinstatement(s)
  • The ability to write on broker or Pacific Indemnity excess D&O forms
